This is a small read for the person who doesn’t feel like going through it all and has lost hope

The Image of person looking into nothing

I sometimes miss the old you, so this might be familiar to you. But, you see, I know that you don’t necessarily feel like listening or talking to anyone, maybe songs don’t make you happy or sad anymore, maybe you are falling for all the demons in your head, maybe this feeling of perhaps nobody can ever truly understand you have started settling in. But you know, sometimes I miss your smile, the cheerfulness, the excitement, how you were so full of life-giving and spreading hope to anyone and everyone who ever needed it. Ya, this old trait of yours still sometimes makes me remember how you liked helping people and giving them things that may be required somewhere. You also distributed your happiness.

I know people have left you; now you have nothing don’t to be hopeful or excited about. Watching that light of life within you slowly disappear scares me.

Lately, I have been talking to your parents, and they said they did everything they could, but it just didn’t seem to help. Somewhere or the other, I wish you would either come out to hang out or at least let me go in your room; I wish I could talk to that old friend and relinquish all our precious memories.

I am proud of who you are. I always was; I felt pride in introducing you as my friend. In the end, you had always been better than me, right?

You are not alone. I know what you are going through is tough, but trust me, you can do this; you know I want you to win over those demons in your head. Yes, I know they hurt and can often get realistic, making you question your existence. But that doesn’t change a thing about them. You know, while traveling from the way back to your home, I saw a kid about thirteen smiling down the road; he looked at me and smiled, and I smiled back, and at that Instance, I knew it was your smile, the one you gave away for the world. You know, that said, I wondered about what made it so special, and I realized it wasn’t the smile that you gave away, but it was you. You are the best and will always be; you deserve happiness.

This story is inspired by a video by illneas the link for the same is:
